After a lot of real-world use (and a few “let’s see how far we can push this” tests), we went back to the drawing board and redesigned our Milwaukee tool mounts for better rigidity, strength, and long-term durability—without turning them into bulky bricks or doubling the print time.

What’s improved

Here’s what changed under the hood:

  • Stronger internal structure We’ve reworked the internal infill layout and line paths to better support the areas that take the most stress, especially around the locking points and contact surfaces.
  • More efficient wall design Instead of simply making everything thicker, we’ve reinforced key load-bearing zones while keeping the rest of the mount lean. This keeps the mount stiff where it matters and light where it doesn’t
  • Better load distribution Minor geometry tweaks (fillets, transitions, and support ribs) help spread out force more evenly, reducing flex and minimizing long-term wear on both the mount and your tools.

What this means for you

  • Tighter, more confident hold on your Milwaukee tools
  • Less flex, especially when you’re grabbing or holstering tools quickly
  • Same form factor – compatible with your existing setup and storage layout
  • No unnecessary bulk – still slim, clean, and garage/shop-friendly

This redesign is now the standard for all new Milwaukee mounts we ship. If you’ve been happy with our previous version, you’ll love how this one feels in daily use.
